The Ramchand Motichand Shah Educational and Cultural Trust® in Indi was founded with a vision to provide quality education to students in rural and backward areas of Indi Taluka. Established with the goal of serving needy students, the Trust launched its first institution-a CBSE-affiliated school.
The construction of the school began in 2011, and by the 2013 academic year, classes commenced in Block ‘A.’ The school received its CBSE affiliation on May 12, 2014, and currently, the student strength stands at around 1000. The Trust recruited highly qualified teaching and non-teaching staff, both locally and from outside the region, and has equipped the school with all essential infrastructure needed for a modern CBSE education.
The school emphasizes creating an enabling environment that fosters holistic development in students. It houses spacious classrooms and modern infrastructure to support the academic, creative, and personal growth of students, from Preschool Kindergarten to Higher Secondary levels. Recognizing that traditional education alone may not suffice in today’s rapidly evolving world, the school has integrated technology into its curriculum, focusing on Science, Mathematics, and Computer Education to keep students updated with the latest trends and advancements.
A key aim of the institution is to shape students into lifelong learners who are creative, forward-thinking, and capable communicators. The Trust is committed to identifying and nurturing the unique talents and interests of each student while instilling the values of Indian culture and tradition to prepare them for life’s challenges.
In 2018, the Trust expanded its educational services by establishing the Fulchand Kasturichand Doshi Science PU College, which now has 200 students. The institution celebrated its 10th academic year in June 2024, marking a decade of success and growth.
The Trust attributes its success to the visionary leadership of its management, the dedication of its staff, and the support of students and parents, all of whom have contributed to the creation of a centre of excellence in education.
